Tanners is the psych-pop project of Tanner Peterson, the Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, producer, and trophy wife (lesbian!) With support from FADER, NYLON, Stereogum, and Rolling Stone behind her previous singles, she draws from psychedelic, otherworldly sounds and big pop hooks to create her own blend of genre-bending electro-pop, sitting somewhere between Kylie Minogue and Magdalena Bay. Her debut album, Now is a Circle, comes out May 9th.

Confusingly, my real name is Tanner, middle name Sue. When you combine them, you get Tanners. She’s the coolest, most confident version of myself. She’s the feeling of riding in a convertible with your best friends as the sun sets.

Tanners was born under a full moon on a Friday night, dawning the genesis of the Tannerverse—a psychedelic realm where reality bends and invites you to explore the depths of your true self.
